Wheel Weeder – 7″

A highly effective and efficient tool for quickly cultivating pathways and spaces between crop rows. The undercutting action of a stirrup hoe targets larger established weeds, while the wheel generates a light soil disturbance that sifts out smaller weeds, from thread-stage up to 4″, leaving them to desiccate on the soil surface. Most effective when used at a fast walking pace, these French-made tools are available in single and double-row versions in three sizes. The 5″ and 7″ wide models are well-suited for cultivating between multiple crop rows, and the 11″ wide model is best suited for footpaths. Double Wheel Weeders allow cultivation on both sides of a crop. Some assembly required.
