Exclusive! Developed by Johnny’s for use with the Paper Chain Pot system.
Made in the USA, this commercial-grade transplanter is built for ease of operation without compromising performance. The full steel construction, strong angle iron sleds, and rigid frame plows through soil to form consistent furrows. Manufactured with commercial-grade welds at every possible joint to ensure durability.
How it Works:
This ingenious system allows a single person to transplant an entire bed of seedlings in minutes. Compressed Paper Chain Pots, also called “paperpots,” unfold to reveal 264 seedling cells in a honeycomb pattern, all linked with a paper chain which feeds through the Paperpot Transplanter. The Paperpot Transplanter, Spreader Bars and Frame, Paperpot Trays, and your choice of Paper Chain Pots are sold separately, and all are required for use.
1/8″-thick steel angle iron sleds anchor the plow and form the foundation of the entire frame. These sleds, at soil surface, provide a low center of gravity that produces a stable gliding motion in a wide range of soil types. The front axle features adjustable guide wheels that can be set at 4″, 7.5″, and 8.5″ widths allowing for tighter plant spacing. The fully collapsible handle lays flat against the transplanter frame when not in use, making your transplanter convenient to store. The entire steel frame weighs in at a very maneuverable 26 lb. making it an easy carry with one hand.
Benefits:
- Steel angle iron sleds for superior strength and stability
- Adjustable front axle for optional tighter spacing and improved productivity
- Easy on-the-go handle height adjustment
