Vibrant sherbet-colored blooms on long stems.
1 1/2–2″ orange blooms with streaks of pink. Also known as a French tulip. Dordogne is a 1990’s introduction. A Single Late-Flowering type. 12 cm+ bulb size. 1 unit = 1 bulb. NOTE: Bulbs do not come pre-chilled; if growing in hardiness Zones 8–10, see growing information (below) for pre-chilling instructions.
About Single Late Tulips:
- Known for their elegant long stems
- Pair well with Parrot and Double Late Tulips as they have a similar bloom period (late spring)
- Bloom mid-May in our outdoor trials
- Do not naturalize/perennialize readily
- Grow best in Zones 3–7
