One-of-a-Kind Blooms + Rare Climbing Form

Delivering vigorous growth and effortless beauty to your garden walls, arbors, and beyond, the Climbing Hydrangea is truly unlike any other. It boasts a slow-growing, shrubby habit until it’s established and then takes off…producing long, fast-growing and elegant stems that blanket your landscape in unparalleled elegance.

In fact, it’s the only climbing hydrangea available. It’s also deciduous, so it shades walls in summer and lets in the warmth of the sun during winter, conserving energy. Plus, its effortless clinging habit means it doesn’t need a trellis to thrive, extending across any surface with ease and blanketing your home, pergola and more in no time.

The Climbing Hydrangea’s lacecap blossoms delight throughout the summer. Dark green leaves and creamy petals merge for excellent contrast against your garden’s backdrop, providing inexpensive yet richly-blooming cover that’s one-of-a-kind.

But don’t let its delicate appearance fool you…it’s unbelievably strong and hardy. Whether you live in the cold of Chicago or the humidity of Atlanta, it thrives and flourishes in most conditions.

The Climbing Hydrangea is highly sought-after, so it can’t be found at most garden centers or nurseries. But when you order from Brighter Blooms, you get the rare Climbing Hydrangea plus no-nonsense long-term growth in one lovely package. We’ve planted, grown and shipped your Climbing Hydrangea with the utmost care, so you reap the rewards of our hard work.

But don’t wait…this rare Climbing Hydrangea sells out fast. Order yours today!

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Your Hydrangea will grow best in moist, well-drained soil. There’s no need to amend your soil when planting. Be sure to also plant in a sunny area with an area to cling, such as a wall, trellis, pergola, or arbor.

When you’re ready to plant, dig a hole that’s about twice the size of your Hydrangea’s root ball and just as deep, place your Hydrangea, and then backfill the soil. Finally, water the surrounding area to settle the roots.

If you’re planting in a container, use a support for clinging purposes, select a pot that’s about twice the size of your plant’s shipped container, and use organic soil. Finally, place in an area that gets plenty of sunlight.

2. Watering: Water your Hydrangea weekly for the first 6 months. After this time, you will only need to water your plant when you get less than 1 inch of rain during the week.

3. Fertilizing: You can fertilize your Hydrangea every spring with a 10-10-10 fertilizer.

4. Pruning: Prune only in late autumn or early winter as the flowers begin to fade and dry.
