Sumptuous, ruffled blooms on sturdy stems.
This standout beauty caught our attention at the Keukenhof Tulip Gardens of Holland in the spring of 2019. Currently a rare find in the US. 3–4″-wide semidouble blooms light up with apricot, orange, and soft rose hues. Colors transform and soften as the blooms mature. Named after Dutch astronaut Andre Kuipers. NOTE: Bulbs do not come pre-chilled; if growing in hardiness Zones 8–10, see growing information (below) for pre-chilling instructions.
