Bold multicolor blooms on long stems.
The beautiful 3″ blooms are scarlet to raspberry with bands of sunny yellow to orange at the petal edge. Pairs well with Beauty of Apeldoorn, which has a similar color palette with subtler coloration. Apeldoorn’s Elite was introduced in the 1960s and is a sport of the ‘Apeldoorn’ tulip. A Darwin Hybrid type. 12 cm+ bulb size. 1 unit = 1 bulb. NOTE: Bulbs do not come pre-chilled; if growing in hardiness Zones 8–10, see growing information (below) for pre-chilling instructions.
